If you play the guitar, We will make the metal string vibrated. In this time, the vibration of string make a electric current by interacting with magnet. This principle is called 'magnetic induction' Finally when this electric current go into the amp from the guitar, the amp make this amplify.

¿So, what happens with sound up in space? 
Well, absolutely nothing!! 
Theres is no sound in a vacuum because the sound waves can not be transmitted trough it. However, astronauts can manage to mantain communication through radio devices, this happens because electromacnetic waves can be transmitted even in the absence of natural mediums.

                                                                         

So it doesn´t matter how much you scream, if you don´t have a radio, nobody will be able to hear you!
